Bio

High School: The lone lefty on the Lady Saints roster this season, Artis came to Liberal from Caprock High School in Amarillo where she played for Coach Wes Torres for the past four seasons.  Artis averaged 18 points and 5 assists per game for Caprock as a senior last season, leading the way to All-District and All-Region selections.  She was named to the All-Tournament team in three different tournaments last year including the Clovis, Ennis, and Golden Spread All-Star Game Tournaments.  Artis was also an All-District pick during her junior season at Caprock and was named the Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2010.  She finished her career with 1,304 points, averaging 11.7 per game for Caprock in four seasons.  Also starring in Volleyball and Track, Artis was an All-District selection and earned three letters on the Volleyball court and was a three time Regional Qualifier on the track.  She has one brother, Ckyler (22) and a sister, Jessica (20).
