43 Seward County Student Athletes Earn NJCAA All¬-Academic Honors

Following the 2023-24 Academic calendar year, Seward County had 43 student-athletes recognized in the NJCAA with All-Academic honors after putting in the hard work in the classroom to keep their grades up to at least a 3.60 throughout the entire academic year.
Saints Soccer Roster Set for 2024 Season

Seward County made history a year ago with their inaugural season in 2023 for their men’s soccer program that was heavily shaped by freshmen who will return as sophomore leaders for the 2024 campaign, including all six of the Saints All-KJCCC selections from a year ago, to partner with an exciting group of incoming freshmen that Head Coach Jaime Beltran will lead against some of the toughest teams in the NJCAA in the upcoming season.
Raney Inks with Dakota State Trojans

Following a two-year career with Seward County that saw the Saints record back-to-back 30+ win seasons, sophomore outfielder Connor Raney has signed with the Trojans of Dakota State University to continue his collegiate career at the four-year level.
Torres Signs with Delta State

After helping to lead the Lady Saints to another NJCAA National Tournament appearance where Seward County placed 6th overall, Lara Torres Baron has made her decision to sign at the four-year level with Delta State University to continue her collegiate tennis career at the Division II level.
Cunningham Signs with Colorado Mesa

Following one season with the Seward County Saints, freshman Malakye Cunningham has decided to continue the rest of his collegiate journey at the four-year level after signing with Colorado Mesa University for the 2024-25 season.
Lady Saints Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

Baffa Becomes Black Bear After Signing with Maine

After three years in Liberal as a member of the Saints, Todd Baffa will finally be continuing his collegiate career at the Division I level after signing with the University of Maine for the 2025 season as he will change in the green and white for blue and black as he becomes a Black Bear.
Saints Pitcher Signs with Oklahoma Christian

After appearing on the mound for the Saints this past season, sophomore ace Tyler Wilcox will head down south to Oklahoma Christian University after signing with the Eagles to continue his athletic and academic career at the four-year level.
Cartwright Signs with Colorado Mesa

After climbing the record books this past season for Seward County baseball, Cameron Cartwright has found a new home in Colorado Mesa University to continue both his athletic and academic career at the four-year level in the 2025 season as the Saints’ All-Region selection looks to continue slugging out homers at the next level.

Noemi Tudon helped lead the Seward County Lady Saints softball team to their best season since 2018 and after wrapping up her career in Liberal, she will be heading to Forest City Iowa to continue her athletic and academic career after signing with Waldorf University to join the Warriors in the 2025 season.
Dan Artamenko Steps Down as Athletic Director

After five years as the leader of Seward County athletics, Dan Artamenko has stepped down as the Athletic Director for the Saints as he moves on to the next part of his career at the NCAA DIII level with Lakeland University as their new Athletic Director.
Filipovic Signs with Great Danes

After leading the Lady Saints in kills in her only season with Seward County, sophomore Dora Filipovic will be taking her talents to the Empire State after signing her National Letter of Intent to play for the University at Albany to continue both her athletic and academic career at the four-year level.
Seward County Athletics Recognizes Spring Honor Roll

The Seward County Community College Athletic Department is proud to announce the Spring 2024 Athletic Director Honor Roll. Qualifying standards are met by maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher in non-remedial courses and complete 12 or more credit hours for the semester.
