Atkinson and Dinarte Represent Lady Saints as All-Conference Selections

Liberal, Kansas – After completing their inaugural season in 2023, the Seward County Lady Saints women's soccer team had two players named as All-Conference selections in the Jayhawk Conference as picked by the KJCCC on November 20th.

The sole player for the Lady Saints named to the all-conference second team was freshman forward Natoya Atkinson who started in all 14 games she appeared in for Seward County. On the season she led the Lady Saints in goals with 5 goals scored during the 2023 season to go with 1 assist for a total of 11 points in her freshman campaign. 

Joining Atkinson as an all-conference selection for Seward County was freshman midfielder Dayra Dinarte who was named to the honorable mention list for the KJCCC. Dinarte started in 12 of her 13 games she appeared in and tied for the second most goals on the team with 1 goal against #13 Hutchinson.

"I am so proud of Natoya and Dayra for what they have accomplished during our first season as a program" said Head Coach Derek Talcott. "They have proven to be true leaders for us on and off the field and they absolutely deserve to be named as all-conference selections in what is one of the toughest conferences for women's soccer in the country".
