57 Seward Athletes Named to AD Honor Roll

It was another banner year in the classroom for Seward County student-athletes in 2013-2014 and 57 of those Saints and Lady Saints were rewarded on Tuesday as Athletics Director Galen McSpadden announced the Spring AD Honor Roll.

Pat Stangle Inducted Into Saints Athletics Hall of Fame

Another Seward County Saint legend was given his place in immortality on Friday night in the Greenhouse as former Lady Saints Volleyball Coach Pat Stangle was the lone inductee into the 2014 Saints Athletics Hall of Fame.

Thais Baziquetto-Allen Named Lady Saints Assistant Coach

Following a successful four year stint as the Head Coach for the Liberal High School Volleyball program, Thais Baziquetto-Allen will join the Seward County bench in 2014 as Bert Luallen’s assistant.

Four Lady Saints Named to KJCCC All-Academic Team

Not only were four Seward County Lady Saint Volleyball players getting it done on the court this fall, but they were also getting it done in the classroom as well. Wednesday the Jayhawk Conference released its fall 2013 All-Academic Teams which included Seward freshmen Kari Anderson, Kristen Anderson, Kelci Bedingfield, and Nacole Miller.

Seward Blocking Machine Morgan Riley Headed to Friends University

After an All-Conference season for the Seward County Lady Saints in which she led the Jayhawk Conference in blocks by a wide margin, Seward sophomore Morgan Riley has signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Friends University next season.
