Seward County Volleyball Summer Camps

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College is set to host volleyball summer camps in the Greenhouse with Head Coach Geno Frugoli. There are three camps that will be available starting with an all-skills camp on June 8th and 9th, a high school summer league that starts on June 7th, and an Elite Volleyball camp on July 23rd.
Lady Saints unable to get an at-large bid to Nationals

LIBERAL, Kan.- Yesterday the NJCAA released the 2021 Volleyball National Tournament bracket and Seward County Community College did not receive an at-large bid to participate. This snaps a two-year streak of national tournament appearances for the Lady Saints. There are only two at-large bids and the first went to Utah State Eastern as the number four seed and the final at-large went to Navaro College at the number 11 seed.
Seward County moves on to the Region VI Championship

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College will compete for a Region VI and Plains District championship after a 3-0 sweep over Colby Community College. The Lady Saints will await their opponent as they will either take on the No. 3 seed Hutchinson Community College or the No. 2 seed Barton Community College.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College was unable to defend their Region VI title as Barton Community College claimed victory 3-2 in the Greenhouse. The Lady Saints lost the first two sets and were able to win sets three and four to tie up the match a two-sets apiece. The Cougars outlasted the Lady Saints in the fifth set with a 15-12 victory.
No. 9 Lady Saints trail early but beats Butler in five

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community college volleyball went down 2-0 to start the match but responded to win 3-2 over Butler Community College. The Lady Saints had to come from behind after a 25-17 first set loss and a 28-26 second set defeat but responded with three set wins 25-19, 25-18, and 25-11.
No. 10 Lady Saints with a 3-0 victory over Colby

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College defeats Colby Community College in straight sets with sets scores 25-18, 25-22, and 25-12. The No. 10 Lady Saints improve to 13-4 overall and 8-1 in conference play. The freshman Seyun Park led Seward County with 11 kills, two solo blocks, and a service ace.
No. 6 Lady Saints losses thier first confrence game 3-1 to Hutchinson

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College volleyball team losses at home 3-1 to Hutchinson Community College and are now 11-4 overall and 6-1 in conference play. The final set scores were 19-25, 17-25, 25-21, and 15-25. This snapped a 61 regular season match-winning streak for the Lady Saints that dated back to the 2016 season. It also marked the first loss in the Greenhouse since the 2017 regional championship match when the Blue Dragons upset the Lady Saints 3-0 to go to the National tournament.
Seward County wins their 60th straight regular-season conference match

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College volleyball program defeated Pratt Community College 3-0 to improve to 10-3 overall and 5-0 in conference play. With the win the No. 6 Lady Saints have now won 60 straight regular-season conference wins, which dates back to the 2016 season.
No. 7 Lady Saints defeats Butler on the road

EL DORADO, Kan. - Seward County College volleyball team defeats Butler Community College in straight sets to improve to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The No. 7 Lady Saints won with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-16 to extend their regular-season conference win streak to 59.

CHARLOTTE, NC - Seward County Community College volleyball program moves up to No. 7 in the latest NJCAA Division 1 volleyball rankings. Last week the Lady Saints had a 6-0 record that included three wins against teams ranked in the top 12 to go up three spots this week.

McCook, Neb. - Seward County community College volleyball program finished the McCook Invitational on Saturday (February 7th, 2021) first with a 3-2 win over No. 8 Northeastern Junior college and ended the weekend sweep with a 3-0 victory over No. 12 Eastern Wyoming College. No. 10 Lady Saints closed the weekend with two top 12 wins and extend their winning streak to 6 matches.

MCcCOOK, Nebraska - On the first day of the McCook Community College tournament the No. 10 Seward County Community College volleyball program defeated Southeast Community College 3-0 and later beat No. 5 Western Nebraska Community college 3-2 on Friday. The Lady Saints improves to 6-3 overall and currently on a four-match winning streak.
Yunju Lee Receives National Recognition

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College volleyball student-athlete Yunju Lee has been awarded NJCAA National Offensive Player of the week, AVCA Two-Year Player of the Week, and KJCCC Setter. Last week the Lady Saints went 2-3 3 overall at a tournament in which the Lady Saints competed against four top 12 teams in the NJCAA Division 1 standing.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College volleyball program defeated Dodge City Community College 3-0 on Wednesday night and improves to 4-3 overall, 3-0 in the conference. No. 10 Lady Saints swept the Conquistadors with sets scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-21. Dodge City put up a fight but Seward outlasted them deep in sets.

COLBY, Kan. - Seward County Community College volleyball program defeated Colby Community College 3-1 to improve to 3-3 overall, 2-1 overall on Monday night. The Lady Saints played their sixth match in five days and had a battle with the Trojans for a four-set high-intensity match.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College volleyball team suffers first loses of the season on the first day of the Northeastern Junior College Tournament. No. 3 Lady Saints first lost to No. 2 Snow College 3-0 and later fell to No. 9 Northeastern Junior College in the final match of the night.
