TYLER, Texas - Under first year Head Coach, Brett Bridel, the Lady Saints finish one point shy of a top five placing with 26 points they capture a 6th place finish at nationals and in the process Camille Belberka and Carol Mora are named 2023 NJCAA All-Americans. Seward County finishes behind ABAC for the tournament and 20 points behind 2023 National Champions Hillsborough Community College.

TYLER, Texas - The Lady Saints added two more points to their total on day four and with these two points remain at 6th place heading into the final day of competition. With 25 total points the Lady Saints sit one point behind a top 5 finish with two championship matches to be played. Hillsborough Community College and Cowley College sit tied at first with 41 total points.

TYLER, Texas - The Lady Saints qualified for four semifinal matches during day three of competition at the 2023 NJCAA Women's Tennis National Championship. Camille Belberka, Carol Mora, Ana Isabela Serrano and Jaena Morais will all play on day four of competition with matches scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. CT.

TYLER, Texas - The Lady Saints go 7-0 on day two of the 2023 Women's Tennis National Championship putting them in prime position heading into quarterfinal action. Seward County used Sunday of the tournament as "moving day" and went from 16th place after day one to now being placed in the top 10 at 9th after day two action.

TYLER, Texas - Three of the five Lady Saint women's tennis student-athletes competed on day one of the 2023 NJCAA Women's Tennis National Championship. Carol Mora and Camila Corrales each had a first-round bye as they will play their first matches tomorrow while Camille Belberka and Ana Isabela Serrano each won their match in straight sets with Jaena Morais going three sets, dropping the deciding set.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College is thrilled to announce Brett Bridel as the next men's and women's tennis coach. Bridel, an Aurora, Illinois native, was previously the head men's and women's tennis coach at Judson University, an NAIA program in Elgin, Illinois, and has 30 years of coaching experience. Bridel brings NCAA D1, D2, NAIA, and NJCAA coaching experience to Seward County.

ROME, Ga. - Last week, Carol Mora won the women's tennis program's first ITA national championship as Mora was crowned the top JUCO singles player in the nation. Mora battled back after a set down to defeat the top seed Arina Gamretkaia from Hillsborough Community College 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the championship match on October 15th, 2022. With the victory, Mora makes school history with the first women's ITA championship and will enter the spring season as the No. 1 player in the nation.
