Bio

Freshman (2012-2013): Tammen played in all 31 Seward County games as a freshman in 2012-2013.  She averaged 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game and unofficially led the Lady Saints in charges taken.  Tammen's top scoring output of the season came against #3 Hutchinson in Seward's regular season finale when she scored 10 points on 3 of 4 shooting and also nailed all 4 of her free throw attempts in the game.  Known as a grit player for the Lady Saints, Tammen recorded at least one rebound in 26 of her 31 games played and in every game in which she played 8 minutes or more.  She had 5 or more rebounds in 8 different games including a career high 7 against Coffeyville.  Tammen finished the season 3rd on the team in free throw shooting at 75%, making 30 of 40 foul shot attempts on the year.   

High School: Tammen donned the green and white in 2012-2013 after playing for Coach Rick Schmidt and Otis Bison High School for four seasons.  While at Otis Bison, Tammen was nearly unstoppable, averaging 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals per game, leading her team to the Sub-State Campionship game.  She was a 1st Team All-League pick and recieved All-Tournament Team honors in a pair of classics as a senior.  Her 28 points in the Keady Tournament tied an All-Time Otis Bison record for points in a game.  She was a three time All-League selection also in Volleyball and qualified for the State Tournament three times in track.  She has one sister, Megan (15).
