Bio

Freshman (2015-2016): Simmons worked his way into 26 games for the Saints as a freshman in 2015-2016.  He averaged 6.2 minutes per game and dropped in 2.0 points per contest.  Simmons scored a career high 11 against Lamar JV early in the season but arguably played his best game late for the Saints when he scored six points and had four rebounds in 13 minutes of action on the road in Colby.  

High School: Simmons remained in state to play for the Saints in 2015 after two varsity seasons for Coach Larry Hogan at Leavenworth High School.  At Leavenworth, Simmons averaged 13 points and 4 assists per game as a senior, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades.  A deadeye from the outside, Simmons led Leavenworth shooting 43% from the three point line and 85% from the free throw line.  He has one sister, Kiana (20).
