Seward Volleyball Tabs Garrett Case New Assistant Coach

Seward County Head Volleyball Coach Thais Baziquetto-Allen announced on Tuesday that former Missouri State assistant Garrett Case will be joining her on the bench for the 2017 as the Lady Saints new assistant coach.

At the collegiate level, Case was most recently at Missouri State University as a volunteer assistant in 2016 after serving as the Bears manager for three seasons.  While at Missouri State, Case worked with statistical analysis and video breakdown as well as aiding in practice and camps.

Case has also coached at the club level for the past four seasons, leading the Springfield Stars and H2 Columbia at the 15 National, 16 National, and 18 National levels to top 20 rankings inside the region.  As well as serving as a coach at H2, Case also worked as the Director of Player Development, in charge of all weekly positional trainings for the club.

Case is a graduate of Missouri State University where he graduated with a degree in Sociology while also holding a minor in Biomedical Sciences.

He will join a Lady Saints program coming off one of its best seasons in recent memory as Seward finished 2016 with a record of 27-11 while winning their first Jayhawk West title since 2008 and their first Region VI Championship since the 2003 season.
