Freshman (2015): Paxton was a regular in the Seward rotation in 2015, playing in all 41 matches and logging action in all but one of the Lady Saints 158 sets on the year. She piled up 184 kills on the season, hammering down a career high 10 late in the season against Illinois Central. Paxton ended her rookie campaign with 65 blocks, including 11 solo blocks, coming up big when the Lady Saints needed her most, notching four rejections in both of Seward's matches at the Region VI Championships.
Redshirt (2014): Paxton attended Baylor University during her first year of college.
High School: Paxton joined a long list of former Canon City Tigers to play for the Lady Saints in 2015 after prepping with Coach Ken Cline for two seasons. During her senior season she rakced up 148 kills and had 42 solo blocks, earning All-Conference honors. She comes from an athletic family which includes her father Brian who played Football at Arizona State and her uncle Mark Grace who played parts of 16 seasons in the Major Leagues, racking up nearly 2,500 hits. She has one sister, Lauren (14) and one brother, Levi (11).
