Schwab Completes Terrific Trio by Signing at Wayland

The third and final Seward County Lady Saint sophomore waiting to determine her playing future signed on the dotted line Tuesday in the All-American Room at Seward County as middle hitter Lindsey Schwab followed in the footsteps of the Lady Saints other two sophs by signing at NAIA power Wayland Baptist University.

Schwab played in 45 career matches for the Lady Saints over the past two seasons, racking up 82 kills and collecting 55 blocks.  As a freshman in 2014, Schwab finished second on the team averaging 0.61 blocks per set on the year.  She notched a career high seven kills in the final match of the 2014 regular season while recording five blocks twice in matches during the year.

Schwab will join Seward teammates Alex Wood and Megan Sharratt with the Pioneers next season.  Wayland has been a perennial power in the Sooner Athletic Conference the past five seasons, reaching the NAIA National Tournament in each of the past three years.
