Bio

Freshman Season (2023-24): Bennett stepped in as a freshman and became a factor for the Saints from the first tip-off of the 2023-24 season as the Hugoton, Kansas native averaged 8.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while knocking down 70 three-pointers through 31 games. Bennett reached the double figures scoring mark in fifteen games while topping the 20+ mark once with a 21 point performance in a win over Southern Nevada where he shot 7/12 from the field and cashed in 5 triples from long-range while also recording 4 rebound and 4 assists.

High School: Bennett played for Head Coach Trey O’Neil at Hugoton High School in the GWAC where he lettered three times for the basketball team. During his senior year in Hugoton, he averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists to earn him First Team All-GWAC and 4A All-State honors while being nominated for the KBCA All-Star game.  During his four years with the program, Bennett helped lead his team to four GWAC championships, four sub-state championships and one state championship. A true student-athlete, Bennett was named to the GWAC All-Academic team twice during his high school career.

Personal: Born in the Garden City, Kansas on November 27th, 2004, Bennett is the son of Lisa and Chad Bennett and is the brother to Ryland Bennett (21).
