Freshman (2014-2015): Casares had a solid freshman campaign for the Saints in 2014-2015, rising up the charts to #31 in the national singles rankings during the season.  He was 12-4 in singles play for the Saints during the spring season, playing 14 of his 16 matches at #4.  He teammed with Alvaro Regnifo at #2 doubles to post a 9-7 mark there for Seward in the spring. Getting his feet wet in the fall to collegiate tennis, Casares fared quite well also.  He ended the fall with a 7-4 singles record across three spots and was 7-6 in doubles play.  He went 2-0 to win the #4 singles championship at the 2015 NJCAA Region VI Tournament and finished 5th at the NJCAA National Tournament after a 1-1 showing.
