Another Saint has committed to continue their athletic career at a four-year school, this time being men's basketball player Terrell Alfred.  Alfred will head to the Univeristy of Jamestown to continue his basketball career with the Jimmies.

Saints upcoming sophomore Isiah Small has been invited to the Juco Advocate 32 and Mullen's Top 100 Camps this summer to showcase his skills in front of four year coaches.  Small will be joined at the camps by incoming Saint transfer Tavion Robinson.

Seward Count Head Coach Jason Sautter announced the addition of James Barrett to his coaching staff on Tuesday, becoming the Saints new Assistant Coach after Luke Adams recieved the head coach job at New Mexico Junior College.

Saints Basketball Announces Jason Sautter Team Camp Schedule

Seward County Basketball has announced the Jason Sautter 2018 Team Camp that will take place June 25th through June 28th this summer in the Greenhouse.  The camp will cost high school team's $400 per team, where they are guarenteed to play eight games (two games per day) over the course of the four day camp. LIBERAL, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced their All-Conference teams on Thursday and two Saints were named to their teams.  Sophomore Ke'Sean Davis earned 2nd Team All-Conference, while freshman Isiah Small was selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference team.

It was a hard-fought quarterfinal game in the Region VI Tournament between the No. 1 seed Coffeyville Red Ravens and the No. 8 seed Seward County Saints, but it was the Red Ravens who eventually came out on top 66-61.

It was a game that came down to the wire,but the Seward County Saints men’s basketball team came away with a victory in the first round of the Region VI Tournament, defeating Butler, 63-61 as the Grizzlies final attempts missed their mark.  It marks the first postseason win for the Saints since 2015.

Teams always want to play their best basketball towards the end of the season, and Seward County is starting to hit their strides, winning a conference game by a season-high, defeating the Dodge City Conquistadors 84-52. With the win and an Independence loss to Hutchinson, Seward moves into 7th place in the Jayhawk Conference and has secured a first round home playoff game.

The Seward Count men’s basketball team picked up an important late season win over the Colby Trojans Wednesday night, 71-56 inside the Greenhouse. Trying to close the gap between teams ahead of them in the standings, it marks the second straight win that the Saints have been able to gain one game on those teams.

It was another heartbreaker in the Greenhouse on Wednesday, as the Seward County men’s basketball team took the No. 17 Coffeyville Red Ravens down to the final seconds, but ultimately losing 67-64.  It marks back-to-back one possession home game loses to a ranked opponent, as the Saints fell to 13-11 overall and 9-11 in the Jayhawk conference.
