Elijah Bear named an NJCAA Division I Baseball All-American
LIBERAL, Kan. – Elijah Bear has been named a member of the 2023 NJCAA Division I baseball All-American team with second team honors.
Elijah Bear slugged his way into national recognition with a batting average of .387 and an on base percentage of .463 with 20 home runs (HR) and 80 runs batted in (RBI). Bear ranks in the top 10 for single-season records in home runs (3rd), RBIs (3rd), and runs scored (T-7th, 72). Elijah is now being recognized as a Second Team All-American after such a phenomenal year in Liberal, KS.
Elijah helped lead the Saints to Wichita State for the Region VI/Plains District tournament where the Saints would end their year after going 33-26 overall with a 20-12 mark in the KJCCC. Elijah will now take the next step of his academic and athletic career as he has signed on to play at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, FL.
