Grant, Folds, Johnson and Goldy heading to four-year Universities

LIBERAL, Kan. - During the month of July, we had four Seward County Community College baseball student-athletes sign to four-year universities. Wyatt Grant, Aj Folds, Kase Johnson, and Peter Goldy will continue their academic and baseball careers at the four-year level next year.
Baseball Camps start June 28th

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Seward County Community College Baseball program will host a three-day summer camp at Brent Gould Field. The camps will be held on June 28th, 29th, and 30th with an all skills camp for ages 8-12 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This will be followed by an all skills camp and prospect camp for ages 13 and older from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Didier, Boisvert, and Berberich move on to 4 year Universities

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Seward County Community College Baseball team announces that Braden Boisvert, Corey Didier, and Sam Berberich have signed on to four-year universities. Boisvert has signed on to continue his baseball and academic careers at Oregon State University. Corey Didier has signed on to continue his academics and baseball career at Texas Weslynn University. Sam Berberich has signed on to attend and compete for Abilene Christian University.

Seward County bounces back after a first round loss in Sub Regional action

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College made a late push against Neosho County Community College but falls short 10-7 in the first round of the Region VI Tournament. The Saints bounced back in their second game on Friday with a 24-10 victory over Cloud County Community College to advance to day two of the Sub-Regional.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College loses to Neosho County Community College in the semifinals of the Region VI Sub Regional at Brent Gould Field to be eliminated from the tournament. The Saints end their 2021 season with a 26-25 overall record and had a 20-12 conference record in the regular season.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College will host the Region VI sub-regional tournament at Brent Gould Field with games starting on May 14th, May 15th and May 16th will be the championship game. The Saints ended the season in a three-way tie with Barton Community College and Butler Community College but Seward County held a 5-3 head-to-head record to receive the bid.
Seward County reclaims second place in the West

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College swept Pratt Community College at home on Saturday with an 11-0 victory followed by a 13-1 win. The Saints re-claimed second place in the Jayhawk West with an 18-10 conference record and 23-21 overall. Seward County had 24 runs on 24 hits to propel them to the two victories.

PRATT, Kan. - Seward County Community College splits their doubleheader at Pratt Community College with a game one win 5-4 followed by a loss 8-4. With the loss in game two, the Saints are now tied with Cloud County Community College for second place in the Jayhawk West with a 16-10 conference record. Seward County will be back in action at Brent Gould Field on Saturday to finish the series with the Beavers.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College ends their series at Butler Community College with a win 14-9 followed by a loss of 9-6. With a series split against the Grizzlies, the Saints remain in second place in the Jayhawk West with a 15-9 conference record and a 20-20 overall record. Seward County will have a non-conference game on Tuesday versus Clarendon College and will compete against Pratt Community College for a four-game series this weekend.
Saints win on a walk off but loses game two to Butler

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College went 1-1 against Butler Community College in Liberal on Thursday with a game one win 15-14 and a loss of 18-8 in game two. The Saints were able to score five runs in the bottom of the seventh to win game one but the Grizzles scored 18 runs to force the run rule in the seventh. With the split, the Saints remain in second place in the Jayhawk West with a 14-8 conference record and they sit at 19-19 on the season.
Seward County loses the weekend series 2-1 at No. 11 Cowley

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. - Seward County Community College lost the three-game series 2-1 at Cowley College this past weekend. The Saints fell in game one 10-2, won game two 6-0, and lost the final game of the weekend 2-0 in Arkansas City, Kansas. Seward County goes back to .500 on the year with an 18-18 overall record.
Seward County falls 11-3 at Frank Phillips

BORGER, Tex. - Seward County Community College went to Frank Phillips College and lost 11-3 in one nine-inning game. The Saints scored two runs to start the game but the Plainsman scored five runs in the bottom of the first to take control of the game. Seward County falls to 17-16 on the season and will be back in conference play on Friday to face Cowley College.

GREAT BEND, Kan. - Seward County Community College wins the series 3-1 over BArton Community College after a split in Great Bend. The Saints extended their winning streak to 11 with a game one win 4-2 but fell in game two 10-6. Seward County remains tied with Butker Community College for second in the Jayhawk West with a 13-7 conference record and a regular season record of 17-15.
Seward County defeats Dodge City in doubleheader at Brent Gould Field

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County sweeps the series against Dodge City Community College with a game three win 6-5, and a game four win 10-6. The Saints have won eight games in a row to get back to .500 on the year with a 14-14 overall record and a 10-6 conference record. This is the first series sweep in the conference season and the Saints are now tied for second in the Jayhawk West with Cloud County and Hutchinson hold the top spot with a 13-3 conference record.

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Seward County Community College baseball team handles business at Brent Gould Field with a 13-4 win over Frank Phillips College. The Saints had 17 hits in the nine-inning game that included a grand slam from Gannon Hardin in the bottom of the eighth inning.
