High School: One of the top junior players in South Africa, Mechali comes to Seward from Port Elizabeth. Mechali held a #1 state ranking in the under 18 category before joining the Saints and at 16, was ranked as one of the top 20 players in all the country. Mechali scored a huge win in the Johannesburg Super 7, knocking off ITF Top 400 ranked Innocent Tidimani in a three set battle.
