Freshman Season (2023): Mmunga appeared in 14 games in the 2023 season for Seward County with 2 starts as a freshman on the back line. He recorded one shot that landed on goal for a Shot on Goal percentage of 1.00% while helping the Saints to five shut outs including four shut out wins as a defender.
High School: Mmunga joins the Saints’ inaugural soccer team after playing for Head Coach Guerzo Guerrero at East High School in Kansas City, Missouri. During his time for the Bear’s, Mmunga led his team to a district championship and a second-place finish in the State championships while also being named to both the All-State and All-Region teams for defense.
Personal: Born in Tanzania, Kigoma, Mmunga is the son of Mmunga Songolo and Riziki Emedi and has eight siblings: Maria, Frazia, Emedi, Ramazani, Suzana, Irene, Esther, and Kasikile.
