*Jayhawk West Defensive Player of the Week (August 24-30, 2015)

Freshman (2015): Diaz was the Lady Saints primary libero in 2015, playing in 40 of 41 matches as a freshman.  She led Seward and ranked 4th in the Jayhawk West with 510 digs on the season, also leading the Lady Saints at 3.29 digs per set. She started her Seward career with a bang, recording 25 or more digs three times in the opening week of the 2015 season, leading her to Jayhawk West Defensive Player of the Week honors.  Her 28 in Seward's opener against Pima were a career high, matched by another 28 the next day against South Mountain.  Diaz reached double digits in digs  24 times and topped the 20 dig mark four times.  Also solid on the service line, Diaz recorded 25 aces as a rookie, including a career high five in a 3-0 win over Lamar midseason.  

High School: Diaz joined the Lady Saints in 2015 from Humacao, Puerto Rico where she played for Borinquen Coqui and Coach Steven Fernoski.  She helped lead them to the AAU National Championships in Orlando and also had success in National Qualifiers  in Baltimore and Atlanta.
