2024 Roster Announced for Lady Saints Soccer

Liberal, Kansas – One year removed from making history for Seward County with their inaugural season in 2023, the Lady Saints soccer program has unveiled their roster for the 2024 campaign that will bring back a majority of their final roster from a year ago, led by All-KJCCC returners in Natoya Atkinson and Dayra Dinarte.

Atkinson and Dinarte return as two of the Lady Saints top playmakers in the 2023 season alongside fellow returner Isabelle Artley who scored the game winning goal against Coffeyville for Seward County's first program win last year. The Lady Saint's scoring trio in 2023 will be joined by a large group of returners as well as some fresh faces to Seward County fans with some local products getting a chance to step on the field for the hometown team.

Liberal native Ashley Acevedo will be one of two new players protecting the goal for the Lady Saints this upcoming season with the other being Miu Kamei who makes her way to the states from Japan. The back line will have a mixture of experienced sophomores in Abigail Artley, Kiara Leiton, and Aleni Curiel leading the way while freshman Arely Rivas who comes from right down the road from Liberal HS will help Seward County on the back line.

Dinarte and Artley will step in at the midfielder spot as a veteran presence alongside fellow returner in Teosha Culzac who saw crucial minutes in 2023 and will be joined by some freshman familiar with the area including Coraima Chavira. They will look to push the ball up to the front line with Atkinson leading the way as the only returning forward with some new scoring options including Mayra Hernandes as the Lady Saints look to grow their scoring numbers in 2024.
