Freshman (2014-2015): Mariga became the first NJCAA All-American in the history of the Seward County Tennis program in 2015, marching his way to the National Championship match at #5 singles before finishing as runner-up.  Mariga was one of the Saints top scorers in 2015, posting a 14-2 record in #5 singles and a 13-4 record in #3 doubles in the spring season.  He led the Saints to their first ever Region VI Championship as a team in 2015, winning the brackets in both #5 singles and #3 doubles at the tournament.  

Redshirt (2014): Mariga redshirted during his first year in Liberal.  

High School: Before joining the Saints, Mariga attended Hillcrest College in Mutare, Zimbabwe.  He has three brothers, Tafadzwa (31), Tawanda (29), and Tatenda (27).
