Bio

Freshman (2014-2015): Kurz was 5-6 in singles play during his freshman season for the Saints while posting a matching 5-6 record in doubles action for the guys in green.  Kurz played at #3 and #6 singles for the Saints during the fall season, while playing matches at all three doubles spots in the fall.  He started the spring as the Saints #5 man in singles, going 1-1 and was 0-2 in #3 doubles.  

High School: Kurz made the trip over to Liberal from Pratt High School where he played for three seasons for Coach Larry Kahmeyer and the Greenbacks.  Kurz played #1 doubles for Pratt, finishing 8th place in the 2014 State Tournament.  Also accomplished in the classroom, Kurz was an Academic All-State selection during his senior year.  He has two brothers, Quentin (24) and Jacob (17).
