Freshman (2013-2014): Stevenson was nothing short of spectacular in 2013-2014 for the Saints, putting together one of the finest freshman campaigns in school history, averaging 19 points and 5 rebounds per contest.  He was named the Jayhawk West Freshman of the Year, a 3rd Team NJCAA All-American, as well as 1st Team All-Jayhawk West and 1st Team All-Region VI member in his first season with the Saints.  He scored 20 or more points in 17 games as a freshman including a stretch of 9 in 10 games during the Saints Jayhawk West Championship run.  He topped the 30 point mark four times including an epic 36 point, career high effort in a 69-60 win over Garden City.  Maybe his finest game of the year came on the day after Thanksgiving when he scored a then career high 33 points and grabbed a career  high 11 rebounds for the Saints despite battling an ankle injury against Northeastern.  In three Region VI Tournament games he averaged 26.6 points per game and made 10 or more field goals in each contest.  He was named the KJCCC Player of the Week three times as a freshman and notched NJCAA National Player of the Week honors late in the season after a 28 point performance in a Seward road win at Hutchinson. Also a very good student, Stevenson earned his way onto the Athletic Director's Honor Roll during both semesters last year.

High School: Stevenson came to Liberal to play for the Saints last season after a standout high school career at Rachview High School in Dallas where he played for Coach Dee Boys.  As a senior Stevenson led Ranchview to a 27-5 record, averaging 25 points and 5 rebounds per game en route to being named MVP of his conference and earning All-State honors. Stevenson has two sisters, Yasmine and Dasha.
