Bryson Allen Named Jayhawk Player of the Week

Seward County centerfielder Bryson Allen was rewarded by the Jayhawk Conference for a big week on Tuesday as he was named by the league, its Player of the Week in a league release. 

Allen hit in all five Seward games this week, batting .529 while smashing out 6 extra base hits and driving in 8 runs.  Wednesday at Frank Phillips, Allen helped the Saints knock off the WJCAC leaders as he went deep twice in four at bats.  In game two of the Butler series, he missed hitting for the cycle by just a double, finishing 3 for 4 with a triple, a home run, and 4 RBI's.  Sunday he picked up a pair of doubles, going 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored in game three of the series and was 1 for 2 with a walk in the series finale.
