Lady Saints basketball moves up to No. 23

CHARLOTTE, NC - Seward County Community College women's basketball receives a national ranking of 23rd in the latest NJCAA Division 1 ranking. Last week the Lady Saints won on the road at Coffeyville Community College 63-54 and to remain unbeaten overall and conference play at 3-0. 

The rankings have Trinity Valley Community College at the top spot followed by Northwest Florida State College and Chipola College to round out the top three. 

Other Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference KJCCC was ranked this week. Butler Community College jumped from outside the top 25 to No. 16, and Hutchinson Community College fell from No.11 to No. 17 this week after a loss at Butler. 

This weekend the No. 23 Lady Saints will face off against the No. 16 Butler Community College in the Greenhouse at 2 pm.
