DODGE CITY, Kan. – The No. 15 Seward County women's basketball look to win their seventh straight game on Wednesday (Jan. 10) as they travel to Dodge City at 5:30 p.m. to take on the Lady Conquistadors.

The Lady Saints (13-2, 9-2) are coming off a dominating, 77-point road victory over the Colby Trojans on Saturday (Jan. 6).  The margin-of-victory was the largest against a conference opponent in Lady Saint history.  Amy Scott had a career-night, finishing with 22 points, while Mollie Mounsey (18 pts) and Lexi Hernandez (17 pts) joined her in double-figures.

Mounsey is approaching history for Seward, as she currently sits just nine points shy of becoming the 8th Lady Saint to reach the 1,000 career-point mark.  She is currently leading the team at 19.6 points/game.

The Lady Saints have been playing unselfish basketball this year, leading the conference in assists (19.7 assits/game).  The assists have created open looks for Seward County, as they've scored a league high 80.9 points/game, while also hitting a league high 46.1 percent (11th nationally) from the floor and 157 three-pointers (5th nationally).

Dodge City (5-9, 2-8) is currently on a two-game losing streak and have lost eight of their last ten games.  They are coming off a 58-47 home loss to Independence on Saturday where they shot just .31.4 percent from the floor and 11.8 percent from behind the arc.

The Lady Conqs are led on offense by freshmen Makaela Ewing (9.3 points/game) and Addison Rowley (8.9 points/game).  Dodge City comes into the game averaging just 56.4 points/game while shooting 34.3 percent from the field and 23.1 percent from deep.

Seward has won 22 straight games against Dodge City, dating back to February 5, 2006 when the Conqs beat the Lady Saints 64-57 in the Dodge City.  After splitting his first two meetings, Head Toby Wynn has won 22 straight games. The Lady Saints hold a 59-23 all-time record against the Lady Conqs.

The game will be streamed on Dodge City's YouTube channel can be heard on 107.5 KSCB as Brock Kappelmann (pxp) is on the call.
