Seward Up One Spot to Lucky #7 in NJCAA Top 25
Despite not taking the court this week in game action, the Seward County Lady Saints moved up a spot in the NJCAA Top 25 poll, sliding in to #7 with their 11-0 record this season.
Seward remains in the top 10 for the third straight week with their 11-0 mark. The poll continues to be topped by Chipola, Hutchinson, and Trinity Valley at the top while Northwest Florida State, Iowa Western, Eastern Arizona, and Seward move up a spot with Tyler falling from #4 to #9 with their first loss of the season.
Trinity Valley is the only team in the top seven with a loss this season, that coming at the hands of Midland, a team that the Lady Saints defeated handily earlier this season. The top seven teams in the poll having combined for an 84-1 record to start the season.
The Lady Saints next two games will come against teams also ranked in the top 25 as they head to Las Vegas, Nevada in 10 days where they will battle #11 Salt Lake and #19 Southern Idaho in Sin City.
