Kuntze wins second straight Jayhawk Setter of the Week

LIBERAL, Kan - For the second week in a row, Seward County Lady Saint Giovanna Kuntze has won the Jayhawk West Setter of the Week. The sophomore setter is averaging 11.00 assists per set in the month of September and an even higher 12.60 in conference play.

Despite only playing one set in the match against Temple, Kuntze finished the weekend recording 140 assists, for an average of 10.77 assists per set. Her setting ability has helped lead the Lady Saints offense to an NJCAA leading 14.47 kills per set. Kuntze currently leads the KJCCC in assists per set with 10.65 and service aces per set with 0.71. 

The Lady Saints play again Wednesday night (Sep. 13) at 6:30 pm in the Greenhouse against Dodge City.
