Freshman (2015): Mesa was a key cog for the Lady Saints runner-up finish in the Jayhawk West and Region VI Tournament in 2015 as the Dominican right side was one of just two players on the Seward roster to have seen action in all 41 matches and all 158 sets on the year. A solid all-around player for the Lady Saints, Mesa finished her freshman season with 322 kills, 144 digs, and 72 blocks on the year. She reached double figures in kills in 12 different matches, posting her career highs against top 25 teams in back to back matches of the Tyler Tournament with 16 against New mexico Military and 15 against Panola. On the defensive end, she also chalked up her career high in digs against NMMI, pulling up 16 early in the year against the Broncs. At the net she anchored the right side for Seward with a career high eight blocks midseason against Laramie County.
High School: Mesa played for God's Hour Club for three seasons, receiving Most Valuable Player honors at the Caco Tournament. She helped God's Hour to a Regional Championship in 2013 and was named top hitter at the tournament.
