Hello Seward County Lady Saints fans! My name is Kaysie Paxton and I am a transfer student from Colorado. Last year I attended Baylor University and although there are many differences, I am proud to call Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas my new home. One of the things I noticed and appreciate most about this community is it's warm welcome and the incredible support it has to offer. First and foremost, I'm blessed to stand by 10 other tremendous athletes and teammates on the volleyball court. Coach B (Baziquetto-Allen) and the college staff are pushing me to be a better student and athlete every day.  Moreover, I cannot express my gratitude towards the generous support of the community. I want to give an extra shout out to the Kappelmann's who have been more than accommodating and supportive throughout my journey here at Seward County. Recently I've enjoyed the company of the three awesome little kids: Bren, Brookes, and Brady Kappelmann. Also, on behalf of the team, we would like to thank Pizza Hut for graciously sponsoring  tonight as Pack the House Night in one of our biggest games this season against Hutchinson.

This team has come together so well this season to compete against a wide range of opponents. I know that nearly every team improves throughout the course of a season but I've been thoroughly impressed with the hard work, passion, and dedication I've seen on this team. However, the pressure now falls on us tonight to defend our 1st place standing in the Jayhawk West Conference.  I truly believe that my team and I have worked hard enough to be a competent competitor against a very good team in Hutchinson and I am looking forward to a great game tonight.

I hope to see you all there, PACK THE HOUSE! GO LADY SAINTS!
