Lady Saints Gain Another Win Against Hesston College

LIBERAL, Kan. – The #3 Seward County Lady Saints hosted Hesston College on Saturday, March 10th and swept them 9-0. This is the Lady Saints fourth time sweeping the courts 9-0.

Hesston College on the women's side had an uncompleted roster so a total of three ladies from both teams competed. There was one match of doubles and three matches of singles then Hesston had to default the rest of the matches.

In the game of doubles, Megan Petr and Yursa Hegy defeated, Liliana Wait and Harune Suzuki 8-5.For singles, No.2 was Hegy and she won against Suzuki 8-1, No.3 was next to finish where Petr defeated Kaede Nakada 8-0 and then No.1 was Martina Borges as she won against Wait 9-7.

The Lady Saints are now 9-2 overall as they head to Pensacola Florida to play against ASA College Miami, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Tyler Junior College.
