Seward Blanks Jacksonville, Dominated by #1 Tyler

For the second time this season the #5 Seward County Lady Saints blanked #17 Jacksonville 9-0, but the Lady Saints quickly came back to Earth with an 8-1 loss to #1 Tyler to move to 5-2 on the year. 

The Lady Saints match with Jacksonville was little more than a warmup for their battle against Tyler as Seward won 64 of 71 games played, while taking advantage of three Jaguar defaults for an easy 9-0 win. 

#5 SEWARD COUNTY/#17 JACKSONVILLE BOX SCORE

In their second match of the day, Seward went up against #1 Tyler and things didn't go real well for the Lady Saints.  Only one of the three doubles matches were close as the Apaches took all three to go ahead 3-0 in the match.  Tyler won a three setter at #4 and Sarah Manseri earned Seward's only point of the match with a three set win over Kaloni Sali at #2, but other than that, the Apaches throttled the Lady Saints, finishing off an 8-1 win to send Seward to their second loss of the year.

The Lady Saints move to 5-2 on the year with the split and will entertain two more ranked foes on Saturday in Midlothian as they take on Collin and North Central Texas.
