Looking to bounce back from a rough 8-1 loss at the hands of another ranked NCAA squad on Friday, the Lady Saints got off on the wrong foot on Saturday in doubles action to start their match with the Cameron Aggies, dropping an 8-1 decision at #1 and 8-4 and 8-3 scores at #2 and #3 to fall behind 3-0 right away.

In singles it didn't get any better for the Lady Saints as Seward was beaten 6-0, 6-1 at both #3 and #4 and was also dispatched of in straight sets at #2, #5, and #6 to give the Aggies an 8-0 lead in the match.  The only competitive match of the day came in a top 20 matchup at #1 where Cameron's Paula Gutierrez outlasted Seward's Mialiniaina Rakotondrazafy 6-3, 5-7, 10-5 to give the Aggies a clean sweep, 9-0 in the match.

The loss was Seward's fourth straight to drop the Lady Saints to 17-5 on the year.  Cameron improves to 13-2 on the year with the win.

Next up for the Lady Saints is a pair of early week matchups as they take on Hesston on the road Monday before returning home Tuesday to take on Southwestern Christian at Blue Bonnet Park in Liberal.
