Saints Stand Pat at #4 in ITA National Rankings

After an 11-0 start to their 2016 season, the Seward County Saints have held steady at #4 in the latest ITA National Tennis Rankings released on Monday.  Seward stays in the same spot, as do the other four in the top five.  ASA Miami remains in the top spot, Seminole State holds down #2, perennial power Tyler checks in at #3 and Mesa fills out the top five.

The Saints have been nearly untouchable so far this year, winning 10 of their 11 matches by scores of 8-1 and 9-0.  Seward is 91-8 in their 99 individual matches played this season.  No Seward player has lost more than one match this season including Ondrej Nice who is 10-0, Ngoni Makambwa  who is 10-1,  as well as Przemek Zielinski and Alex Mosehle who are 9-1.

Seward's schedule will beef up over the next couple of weeks with #7 Cowley on the schedule Saturday followed by potential matchups with #2 Seminole State and/or #3 Tyler at next weekends Seminole State Dual Match Classic.
