Saints Remain Perfect With Pair of Lopsided Wins

The 4th ranked Seward County Saints continued their roll through any resistance Saturday in Midlothian, Texas, burying Texas A&M Texarkana 9-0 and Jacksonville 8-1 to improve to 6-0 on the year.

Playing against their fifth four-year school in their first five matches of the season, the 4th ranked Seward County Saints went to battle against Texas A&M Texarkana Saturday morning in Midlothian, Texas.  The Saints matchup with the Eagles began with doubles play and from the start, it was evident that it was going to be a good day for the guys in green.  Seward earned 8-1 wins at #2 and #3 doubles to go on top early before an 8-4 win at the top spot from Carlos Anez and Ondrej Nice gave the Saints a 3-0 lead into singles play.  The Saints control of the match grew to a vice grip lock as they started battling in singles action.  The closest Texarkana could get to any of the Saints singles players was a 6-2 set score as Seward swept through singles, going 6-0 without coming close to losing a set as they rolled to a 9-0 win.
