INDEPENDENCE, Kan.- Seward County Community college men’s basketball team falls on the road in the first round of the Region VI Tournament at Independence 84-74 and ends the season with a 17-14 record. The Saints could not slow down the Pirates' efficient offense as Independence shot 50% from the field, and 55% from behind the three-point line. This is the earliest exit in the Region VI tournament for the Saints since the 2016-17 season.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Seward County Community College men’s basketball team fell to Hutchinson Community College, 67-47, on Saturday to end its regular season. The Saints dropped to 17-13 overall and finished fifth in the Jayhawk West at 10-11.

GOODLAND, Kan.- Seward County Community College men’s basketball jumped up early on Northwest Kansas Technical College and never looked back defeating the Mavericks 122-69. The Saints recorded their season-high in total points, the previous season-high was 115 against Lamar Community College JV. Unfortunately, Hutchinson Community College defeated Barton Community College 96-91 in overtime, to claim the fourth spot in the West. Seward will be on the road for the first round of the Region VI Tournament, with the opponent to be determined.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College storms back in the second half to defeat Barton Community College 79-72 for sophomore night in the Greenhouse on Saturday. Saints were led by Branton McCrary with 18 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, Roy Clarke added 17 points off of the bench.

COLBY, Kan.- Seward County Community College men's basketball team unable to establish their offense and loses on the road 85-68 to Colby Community College. With the loss, the Saints fall to 15-12 on the season and remains in fifth place in the Jayhawk West with an 8-10 Conference record. Seward shot just 10% from three-point range and shot 44% from the field, the Trojans shot 48% from the field and shot 42% from three.

LIBERAL, Kan.- The Seward County Community College men's basketball team took a large lead early and never let up as it defeated Dodge City Community College, 92-56, on Monday at the Greenhouse. The Saints improved to 15-11 overall and 8-9 in the Jayhawk West while the Conquistadors fell to 9-17 overall and 1-16 in conference play. Seward played 11 different players in the game and six scored in double digits.

PRATT, Kan.- Seward County Community College men's basketball team loses on the road to Pratt Community College 84-73, falls to 14-11 overall and 7-9 in Conference play. The Saints trailed by one point at halftime but the Beavers second-half shooting propelled Pratt to victory. Saints remain in fifth place in the Jayhawk West and now two games behind Hutchinson Community College for fourth place.

Liberal, KS - The Saints collected a rebound with 9 seconds and down 68-67 but were never able to get a shot off, losing to Hutchinson CC 68-67. Seward County Community College moves on to 13-10 overall and 6-8 in conference play, Hutchinson Community College is now 17-6 overall and 8-6 in conference play.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College men’s basketball team takes care of Northwest Kansas Technical College 78-53, to improve to a 13-9 overall record and 6-7 in conference play. The Saints outscored the Mavericks 44-26 in the second half to expand their lead to as much as 26 points with three minutes left.

The Saints had an 86-85 lead with 13 seconds left but the Cougars connected on an inbound play with just 3 seconds left to give them the victory.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College led by a game-high 14 points in the second half but Colby Community College fights back to beat the Saints 76-71. The Saints fall to 12-8 overall and 5-6 in Conference play. Seward turned the ball over 25 times in the game and Colby had 20 more shot attempts, that ultimately put the game in the favor of the Trojans.

DODGE CITY, Kan. – Kyle Cardaci had 18 points and Greg Johnson added 14 points to lead the Saints basketball team to an 86-55 blowout win at Dodge City Community College on Saturday. Seward County Community College, which extended its winning streak to a season-high four games, improved to 12-7 overall and 5-5 in the Jayhawk West, tied for fourth with Pratt.

The Saints won their third game in a row to improve to 11-7 overall and 4-5 in the Jayhawk West, tying them with the Beavers for fourth place.

CHANUTE, Kans.- Seward County men's basketball defeated Neosho County Community College 68-64, to improve to 9-7 overall and 2-5 in Conference play. The second half the Saints were able to implement their own speed to the game, with a full-court press that disrupted the Panthers offense and moved the game to the Saints favor.
