Bio
Freshman (2011-2012): Smith played his freshman season at Frederick Community College in Maryland in 2011-2012. He was a star for the Cougars, finishing 8th in the country with 6.6 assists per game while also putting the ball in the basket with 16.3 points per contest. He had 10 or more assists in a game six different times and scored 20 or more points eight different times including back to back 30+ point efforts against Essex and Allegany.
High School: Before heading to Frederick, Smith was a key contributor for Digital Harbor High School where he led the RAM's to a state title in 2011. Smith averaged 23 points and 10 assists per game for Digital Harbor and was named All-State at the end of his senior season. He has one older brother, Anthony (25).
