Saints Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

After completing their inaugural season this past fall, the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team will compete in the Spring with five games scheduled from the end of March through Mid-April to prepare the Saints for the upcoming 2024 fall season.
Mestres Leads the Way for Six All-Conference Selections

After completing their inaugural season in 2023, the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team had six players named as All-Conference selections in the Jayhawk Conference as picked by the KJCCC on November 20th.
Saints End Inaugural Season with Loss in Region VI Quarterfinals

After finishing their regular season with a winning record and earning the fifth seed in the Region VI Tournament, the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team went out east towards the second seeded Cowley Tigers where SCCC’s inaugural season was finished as they fell 2-0 to Cowley in the quarterfinals of the Region VI tournament.
Saints End 2023 Regular Season with Road Loss to Barton

After clinching a playoff sport in their inaugural season this past Saturday, the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team went out east towards #5 Barton for their regular season finale where they were unable to create any momentum against the top five nationally ranked Cougars who silenced the Saints 3-0 on Monday afternoon.
Saints Clinch Playoff Berth After Result Against Coffeyville

After learning earlier today that they have officially clinched the program’s first playoff spot, the Seward County Saints kicked off on Redskin Field for the last time in the 2023 season on sophomore night where they faced off against the Coffeyville Red Ravens where both teams gained a result after the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
KJCCC Names Mestres as Goalkeeper of the Week

For the second time this year, Seward County freshman Bruno Mestres was selected as the KJCCC Goalkeeper of the Week after helping lead the Saints to a crucial 2-1 win over Dodge City this past Sunday.
Saints Extend Win Streak to Three with Victory Over Dodge City

Sunday afternoon the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team took to the turf in Liberal, Kansas at Redskin Field to take on conference rival Dodge City in a big KJCCC matchup where Seward County was able to extend their win streak to three as they were able to knock off the Conquistadors with a 2-1 victory.
Saints Undefeated in Non-Conference Action

After a big conference win this past Saturday at home against Garden City, the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team went out west towards Lamar to wrap up their non-conference schedule in their inaugural season and were able to remain undefeated against non-conference opponents with a 5-0-1 record after beating the Lopes 3-1.
Saints Soccer Takes Big Conference Win Over Broncbusters

On Sunday afternoon the Seward County Saints soccer team took the field at home in Liberal, Kansas against conference rival Garden City where SCCC was able to take an early 2-1 lead in the first half and held the Broncbusters scoreless in the second half to grab their second conference win of their inaugural season.
Saints Fall to Nationally Ranked Cowley in Arkansas City

Wednesday night the Seward County Saints took a four-hour bus ride out to Arkansas City, Kansas to take on the fifth ranked team in the NJCAA in #5 Cowley where SCCC was shut out in a 5-0 matchup with the Tigers.
Saints Silence the Wolves in Victory Over Metropolitan

Seward County Saints men’s soccer took the field on the road for their second game in two days as they faced off with the Metropolitan Wolves in an afternoon matchup where the Saints were able to find openings in the early going and late into the night to secure a 2-1 win.
Saints Fall in Conference Battle with Blue Devils

Wednesday afternoon the Seward County Saints men’s soccer team made the seven-hour trip to Kansas City Kansas to take on the Blue Devils to start the second half of conference action and despite scoring and early first goal, SCCC was unable to knock off KCK as the Blue Devils took the win 2-1 over Seward County.
Saints Fight Back but Fall to #7 Barton

Seward County men’s soccer played their first home game on Redskin Field since August 31st on Saturday afternoon against an NJCAA top ten team in #7 Barton where despite having their highest scoring game of their inaugural season, the Saints were unable to complete the upset as they fell 4-3 to the nationally ranked Cougars.
Saints Claim Conference Win Against Red Ravens

Seward County Men’s Soccer made a six-hour trip to Coffeyville, Kansas to take on the Red Ravens in conference action where the Saints were able to grab their first conference win in program history over Coffeyville in a 1-0 victory to move up to fifth place in the KJCCC standings.
Saints Blank Coyotes in Road Victory

Seward County men’s soccer picked up their third win of the season Sunday afternoon with a late first half goal to grab a 1-0 win to shut out Kansas Wesleyan’s reserve team in Salina, Kansas for their fourth of five straight road games in September.
NJCAA Names Mestres as National Goalkeeper of the Week

Earlier this week on Tuesday freshman Bruno Mestres was named the KJCCC Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time in his career and the first recipient in Seward County men’s soccer history. Today he continued to create firsts for the program as he was recognized by the NJCAA as the National Goalkeeper of the Week.
