Lady Saints Drop One Spot to #7 in NJCAA Top 25
Following just their second loss of the 2014-2015 season, the Seward County Lady Saints dropped one spot to #7 in the latest NJCAA Top 25 Poll released Wednesday.
Seward remains in the top 10 for the 8th straight week while notching a top 25 ranking for the 20th straight week. The Lady Saints are 20-2 overall on the year and set in 2nd place in the Jayhawk West standings at 8-1 in league action. Seward continues a busy week of action Wednesday night in Colby as they take on a struggling Lady Trojans team before returning home to battle Pratt on Saturday in the Greenhouse.
A number of Seward's 2014-2015 opponents also find their way into the poll in week nine. The Lady Saints two losses this season have come at the hands of #1 Hutchinson and now #6 Salt Lake while Seward has victories over #4 New Mexico, #12 State Fair, and Southern Idaho who is receiving votes in the poll.
