Aubrey Voboril comes to Seward County with a track record of success after working for one season at NCAA DII University of Sioux falls and two seasons as an assistant coach at NJCAA Iowa Western. Voboril will serve as the lead Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Seward.

At both Sioux Falls and Iowa Western, Voboril served as pitching coach and assisted with day-to-day management of the team, equipment, and facilities, as well as oversaw academic success. Under her guidance, Voboril’s pitching staffs have garnered weekly conference honors, conference player of the year awards, Academic All-Americans as well as a pair of All-American pitchers in Bri Brock and Zoe Hicks.

Voboril, who has a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Peru State in 2017, finished her collegiate career at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa where she helped lead the Mustangs to the NAIA World Series during her one year attendance. During her senior season (2016), Voboril posted an individual record of 21-3, threw a pair of perfect games, and recorded four saves in 172.1 innings. She was named an All-American and the Great Plains Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year.  

Prior to joining Morningside, Voboril, a Wahoo, Neb., native, played two seasons with Iowa Western, finishing 33-10 with 266 strikeouts while leading the Reivers to a National Junior College Athletic Association World Series appearance. She earned both All-American and Academic All-American honors. After Iowa Western, Voboril transferred to NCAA DII Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma but suffered a season ending back injury that ultimately ended in surgery.

As a prep standout, Voboril led Wahoo High School to a pair of state titles while finishing in the top three in the state in all four years of high school.
