28 Seward County student-athletes were recognized by the NJCAA for their hard work in the classroom this year as they were awarded NJCAA All-Academic honors for the 2022-2023 school year.

LIBERAL, Kan. – Softball head coach Kristen Silva is heading into her second season at Seward County and is looking forward to hosting her first round of summer camps as head coach. The Saints will host one youth camp and two prospect camps during June, July and August at French Family Field.
Thompson and Gutierrez named Honorable Mention All-KJCCC

LIBERAL, Kan. - Two Lady Saints have been named to the KJCCC All-Conference/Region VI team as Ashanti Thompson and Aaliyah Gutierrez have earned honorable mention honors. Thompson and Gutierrez were key pieces at the top of the Seward County lineup, splitting time in the field and on the mound.
Lana Pigeon signs to Southwestern College

LIBERAL, Kan. - Softball student-athlete Lana Pigeon is the latest four-year signee for Saints Athletics this year. Pigeon has officially sogned on to continue her academic and athletic career at Southwestern College, an NAIA college located in Winfield, KS.
Lady Saints sweep on Sophomore Day

LIBERAL, Kan. – In their last regular season home series of the year, the Lady Saints' sophomores put on a show to help their team to victory. Seward County swept non-conference opponent North Platte to improve to 21-27 on the year while remaining at 11-17 in the KJCCC.

LIBERAL, Kan. – Lady Saints softball is coming off four straight victories with two wins over Otero Junior College and two wins over Northwest Kansas Tech. Seward County now sits in 6th place in the KJCCC at 10-14 in league play with an overall record of 18-24. The Lady Saints sit two games back from Dodge City with 8 conference games still to play.
Seward County falls in a doubleheader at Barton

GREAT BEND, Kan. - Seward County Community College fell in their doubleheader at Barton Community College 8-0 in game one and 9-3 in game two. The Lady Saints are now 2-14 on the year and 0-4 in the KJCCC, with the Conquistadors from Dodge City up next Saturday at French Family Field starting at 1 p.m. CT.
Seward County fell in their KJCCC opener against Butler

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College hosted No. 7 Butler Community College on Saturday's doubleheader. The Lady Saints fell in their conference opener with a 7-1 final in game one and a 13-5 final in game two. Seward County is now 2-12 in the year and 0-2 in the KJCCC. The Lady Saints will continue conference play at Barton Community College on Wednesday starting at 1 p.m. CT.
The Lady Saints open the 2023 season 1-3 against NJC

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College opened the 2023 season at French Family Field this past weekend and went 1-3 in the four-game series against Northeastern Junior College. The Lady Saints fell on the first day 20-3 and 18-4 and bounced back on day two with a 10-2 win but fell 13-9 in the final game. Seward County will travel to Oklahoma this next weekend and take on Crowder College on Saturday and Murray State College on Sunday.
Silva hired to lead the Seward County Softball program

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Seward County Athletic department is thrilled to announce Kristen Silva as the new Head Softball Coach for the Lady Saints. Silva spent the past seven seasons with Lamar Community College and competed in Region IX (2016-22).
Seward County starts a national search for a Softball Coach

LIBERAL, Kan. - The search begins for the next Seward County Community College Head Softball Coach to lead the Saints program. Last week Head Coach Casady Webb resigned from the position after her first season with the program (2021-22). Coach Webb will continue her coaching career at Northwestern Oklahoma State University an NCAA D2 in Alva, Oklahoma.
