Softball Cowtown Classic canceled for this weekend

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College softball team's Cowtown Classic in Fort Worth, Texas has been canceled for this weekend due to weather. They will look to add a double-header for this Saturday, the times and location to be announced at a later date. The team will still get an opportunity to compete this weekend but it will not be in Fort Worth, Texas.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College softball teams look forward to their first games of the season but will be ready whenever they get the opportunity. The Lady Saints return six sophomores to their line up from last year, which includes two 2019 All-Region Second Team members in Nissy Lechuga and Emily Mojica.

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County Community College softball will have to wait until Friday at the Cow Town CLassic for their first games of the season. This Tuesday's games in Clarendon Texas have been canceled due to weather and field conditions but will have a makeup date to be announced at a later day. The Lady Saints have been waiting for their season opener since last week with multiple games canceled in Midland and Odessa due to weather as well. Their first game of the season is now set for this Friday against Rose State College in Fort Worth, Texas at 9 AM.
Softball opening weekend canceled due to weather in Texas

LIBERAL, Kan.- Seward County community college softball team's opening weekend in Midland and Odessa this weekend are canceled due to the weather in west Texas. The Lady Saints were going to take play on Friday at 9 AM against Snow College and followed by a match up with Midland College at 1 PM in Midland, Texas. Saturday they were supposed to take on Trinidad State Junior College at 9 AM and face off against Luna Community College at 1 PM in Odessa Texas. All of these games have been canceled and will have no makeup date.
