28 Seward County student-athletes were recognized by the NJCAA for their hard work in the classroom this year as they were awarded NJCAA All-Academic honors for the 2022-2023 school year.

LIBERAL, Kan. – The trio of Wilson Dubinsky, Jaylin Henderson and Mario Whitley have signed with NCAA universities. Wilson Dubinsky is heading to South Carolina State University, Jaylin Henderson has signed with Louisiana Tech University and Mario Whitley has signed with Eastern New Mexico University.

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - Seward County Community College fell in their final regular season game at No. 19 Coffeyville Community College 94-68 on Saturday night. The Saints will finish the regular season with a 13-17 record and 9-15 in the KJCCC. Their will be one last regular season game for the rest of the conference this Wednesday and we will not know where the Saints will play in the first round of the Region VI tournament until Wednesday evening. LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College came up short against Hutchinson Community College 76-71 on a sophomore night in the Greenhouse. The Saints honored Tre Stafford, Wilson Dubinsky, Jaylin Henderson, and Mario Whitley before tip-off. Seward County fell to 13-15 on the year and 9-14 in the KJCCC.

GREAT BEND, Kan. - Seward County Community College fell last Saturday at Barton Community College 74-57. The Saints battled early in the contest, but the Cougars went into halftime with a 37-31 lead and outscored the Saints 37-26 in the second half. Seward County is now 13-15 on the year 9-13 in the KJCCC and will host Hustinson on Wednesday for sophomore recognition night.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College defeated the Tigers from Cowley College 69-60 on Saturday afternoon in the Greenhouse. The Saints also inducted former head men's basketball coach and program leader in wins and winning percentage, Dave Brown, into the Seward County Athletic Hall of Fame. Seward County improved to 13-13 on the year and eighth place in the KJCCC with a 9-11 conference record.

EL DORADO, Kan. - Seward County Community College falls on the road to No. 18 Butler Community College 68-50 on Saturday night. The Saints shot just 16% from the field in the first half and could not battle back from their early deficit. Seward County falls 10-10 on the year and 6-8 in KJCCC conference play. On Wednesday, January 25th, the Saints will return to the Greenhouse to take on Colby Community College at 8 p.m. CT.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College falls to Pratt Community College 85-76 in the Greenhouse on Wednesday night. The Saints fall 10-9 on the year and are now 6-7 in the KJCCC. Seward County trailed 66-65 with eight minutes left, and Pratt went on a 13-2 run in five minutes to claim the victory. Seward County will look to battle back on the road at No. 18 Butler Community College this Saturday at 4 p.m. CT.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College upset the No. 13-seeded Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens 82-78 on Wednesday night. The Saints traded off baskets late in the second half and sealed the game from the free-throw line to improve to 10-8 overall and 6-6 in the KJCCC. Seward County returns to the Greenhouse next Wednesday, January 18th, at 8 p.m. CT to face Pratt Community College.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. - Seward County Community College fell to Hutchinson Community College 86-75 on Saturday night. The Saints trailed 56-39 in the second half, went on a 19-5 run to get within three points 61-58, and could not complete the comeback. Seward County will return home to take on Coffeyville Community College on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County community college returned to conference action with a 71-64 victory over Barton Community College on Wednesday night in the Greenhouse. The Saints were in control for the entire game with a 40-28 advantage at halftime and held on to their lead in the second half. Seward County improves to 9-7 on the year and 5-5 in the KJCCC.

MESA, Ari. - Seward County Community College prepares for the Mesa Community College Holiday Tournament at Mesa Community College. The Saints will start tournament play against the host Mesa Thunderbirds at 9 p.m. CT in the last game of the evening.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College stormed back to defeat Northwest Kansas Technical College 74-71 in the Greenhouse on Monday night. The Saints trailed 62-52 with five minutes left and closed the game on a 22-9 run with a three by Jaylin Henderson in the final 20 seconds, giving Seward County the win. The victory was Head Coach Rylee Hernandez's 100th career win in his seventh season as a head coach in the NJCAA. The Saints are on a two-game winning streak and have improved to 4-5 in the KJCCC and 7-5 this season.

INDEPENDENCE, Kan. - Seward County Community College falls to Independence Community College 82-63 on the road on Saturday, December 3rd. The Saints went into halftime down 30-28, but the Pirates got hot in the second half to outscore Seward County 52-35. The Saints are now 5-4 on the season and 2-4 in the KJCCC and will be back in action Wednesday, December 7th, at 8 p.m. CT against Garden City Community College.

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College fell short on Saturday, November 28th, against No. 22 Dodge City Community College 90-81. The Saints led 46-38 at halftime, but the Conquistadors outscored Seward County 52-35 in the second half to claim victory. Seward County is now 5-2 on the year, falls 2-1 in the KJCCC, and will continue conference play at Cloud Cunty Community College on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT.
