LIBERAL, Kan. – The All-Region VI team has been released and the Saints are once again a dominant force on both the first and second team selections. The Saints rank at the top of the region with 5 selections in total, two more than any other Region VI counterpart. Cameron Cartwright, Trenton Rowan, Elijah Bear, Jaxson Gregg and Brian Luna Alvarez round out the selections for the Saints.

WICHITA, Kan – The Seward County baseball season has come to an end after a loss to Fort Scott in the Region VI/Plains District Baseball Championship. The Saints finish with a 33-26 record on the year, which is almost a 20 win improvement from last years 14-42 campaign.

LIBERAL, Kan - The Seward County baseball team will be heading to Wichita State next week to continue their play in the Region VI Playoffs after a thrilling win to clinch the series over the Neosho County Panthers. The Saints were able to close the series out without having to go to a decisive game three due to late game fireworks that sealed the deal for the Saints.

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Saints baseball program finished their season last week with an overall record of 31-24 with a 20-12 record in the conference. After having the bye this week the Saints recieved the 7th overall seed of the Region VI Tournament and come Wednesday afternoon will begin play in the postseason against Neosho County.

LIBERAL, Kan. – Congratulations are due for slugger Elijah Bear as he was honored as not only the KJCCC Player of the Week, but also as the NJCAA Division 1 Baseball player of the Week this week. Elijah Bear had a stellar weekend to propel the Saints to 5 victories on their win-streak, which sits at 8 games. Bear went 17-24 (.708), smacked 5 doubles and hit 4 homeruns while driving in 20 runs and crossing the plate 17 times himself. On the week, Elijah posted a .750 on-base percentage while slugging over 1.400 with 0 strikeouts recorded.

Continuing their momentum into Saturday, the Saints Baseball team scored 47 more runs on Saturday to complete the season sweep over Garden City Community College.  Over the 4-game series, the Saints scored 103 total runs, with 15 home runs. With the wins, the Saints have extended their winning streak to 8 games, the longest in the KJCCC.

LIBERAL, Kan. – The Saints baseball program posted a season high 26 runs in game one at Garden City on March 30, 2023, only to top that scoring mark a few hours later in game two with 30 runs scored. The Saints combined for 56 runs on the day while only giving up 11 with excellent starting pitching from Brian Luna in game one and Brady Ritzmann in game two.  The Saints had 6 players record 5 or more RBIs on the day with Connor Cox (9), Tristan Curless (8) and Elijah Bear (8) leading the pack.
