FORT SCOTT, Kan. – The Seward County Community College baseball team ended its season after falling to Fort Scott Community College, 8-0 and 6-5, in the best-of-three series of the first round of the Region VI playoffs on Saturday. The Saints finished 17-15 in the Jayhawk West and 26-27 overall.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Seward County Community College split a doubleheader with Hutchinson Community College, winning the opener in extra innings, 7-0, but losing the nightcap, 4-3. The Saints are 16-10 in the Jayhawk West and 25-19 overall.

LIBERAL, Kan. – Benny Ayala’s walk-off hit in the ninth inning capped a four-run rally and lifted the Seward County Community College baseball team to a 13-12 win over Frank Phillips College in a non-conference game on Tuesday at Brent Gould Field. The Saints have won eight of their last nine games and improved to 24-18 overall.

GARDEN CITY, Kan. – The Seward County Community College baseball team scored double digits in each of its wins against Garden City Community College, a doubleheader sweep, 12-2 and 11-3, on Sunday at Williams Stadium. The Saints win the series against the Broncbusters, taking three of four games. Seward, which has won seven of its last eight games, improved to 15-9 in the Jayhawk West, two games behind first-place Colby and Hutchinson, and 23-18 overall.
