39 Student-Athletes receive NJCAA Academic Honors

LIBERAL, Kan. – Thirty-Nine student-athletes at Seward County Community College received honors for their academic excellence for the 2021-22 academic year. The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) honors All-Academic Student-Athletes for their overall grade point average during the previous school year. To be awarded on the First Team the individuals will need a 4.0 GPA, Second Team requires a 3.80 to 3.99 GPA, and Third Team is a GP between 3.60 and 3.79.
Spring 2022 Athletic Director's Honor Roll

LIBERAL, Kan. - The Seward County Community College Athletic Department is proud to announce the Spring 2022 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. To qualify, student-athletes must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in non-remedial courses and have successfully completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester.

Former Lady Saint Feliz receives AVCA All-American honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Seward County Community College former volleyball stand out receives AVCA All-American honorable mention for her accomplishments at Chicago State University during the 2021 season. Feliz becomes the first AVCA All-American in program history and the at the university since 1987.

Lady Saints set to compete at the 2021 WER Invitational

WER Events revealed the official pairings for the inaugural WER Invitational, pitting top junior college women's basketball teams against each other in what is sure to be a memorable few days at the Milton H. Johnson Center this Nov. 12 – 13. The field will be highlighted by four teams, who appeared in WER's latest Way to Early Top 25 poll: Chipola College at No. 2, Seward County at No. 13, Gulf Coast State at No. 18, and Georgia Highlands at No. 20.
Seward County Athletics partners with Circle of Faith for Dig Pink Night

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College Athletics is proud to partner with Circle of Faith for Wednesday's dig pink night on Wednesday, October 20th. 100% of the free-will donations will be donated to Circle of Faith a Liberal, Kansas Organization that helps cancer patients locally and the surrounding areas with treatment costs. We will also be donating all of the proceeds made at the concession stand to Seward County faculty member Amy Knudsen who was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma last April.

Saints Athletics Starts SAAC Program

LIBERAL, Kan. - Seward County Community College announces the start of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2021-22 academic year. The SAAC program at Seward County will be for student-athletes to come together to enhance the student-athlete experience, promote opportunities, and create positive dialog throughout campus.
