Green signs with Division I Northwestern State

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College sophomore Kalen Green has decided to continue her basketball career at Division I Northwestern State University. Green signed her letter of intent on Tuesday in the All-American Room on the SCCC campus.

The 5-foot-6 guard from Forney, Texas, provided a spark off the bench to help the Lady Saints to a 30-4 record this season. She averaged 7.1 points per game, including 40 three-pointers.

Green came on strong at the end of the season, scoring double-digits in five of the last seven games, which includes a career-high 21 points against South Plains College in the NJCAA Tournament.

Green joins the Lady Demons, who went 6-12 in the Southland Conference and 11-18 overall this past season.
