Saint Men's Tennis Does It Again

LIBERAL, Kan. – The #3 Seward County Saints tennis team earns another 9-0 sweep against Hesston College. This is the Saints seventh 9-0 sweep in spring season.

Starting in doubles, first to finish was No.3 team Sebastian Hernandez and Panos Vlachonikolos who won their match 8-0. Next was No.2, Franck Soulerot and Renato Santos who won 8-3. Last was No.1 where Diego Freire and Jaffer Infante won 8-2.

With a 3-0 lead, singles play finished first with No.4 Santos who won against Jeff Kauffman 6-0, 6-0. Following him was No.6 Hernandez who clinched the win for the Saints with his win over Jonathan Stratton 6-0, 6-0. Next was No.5 Vlachonikolos as he won against Curtis Oesch 6-1, 6-0.

The next three to finish was No.3, No.2 and No.1. No.3 was played by Infante and he won against Hermes Flores 6-0, 6-0, No.2 was Freire who won against Garrett Roth 6-0, 6-1 and finally was Ben Finet at No.1 defeating  Nadeem Jabar 6-2, 6-2.

The Saints are now 13-1 on the season as they head to Pensacola, Florida this week to play against ASA College Miami, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and Tyler Junior College.
