Saints receive KJCCC accolades

 

Seward County Community College men's basketball team received plenty of Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference awards this season.

The All-Region VI teams teams were announced and Isiah Small was First Team, Montrevion Flowers made Second Team and Reggie Miller was Honorable Mention. This past season, Small averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals with 14.7, Flowers averaged 11.4 points and 3.7 rebounds and Miller averaged 10.2 points, 3.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds.

The KJCCC also handed out Jayhawk West Conference awards.

Small was named Defensive Player of the Year, Marco Morency was Co-freshman of the Year and Jason Sautter was Coach of the Year. Small was also named to the First Team All-Conference while Flowers and Miller were named to the Second Team.

Morency averaged 15.4 points and 5.6 rebounds

This season with the Saints, Sautter led his team to a 21-3 Jayhawk West record and 28-6 overall. He is 47-19 in two seasons at Seward and 102-49 in his overall career.
