Kevin Sims Named KJCCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

After blowing up for 52 points in two games for the Saints last week, Seward County freshman Kevin Sims has been named the KJCCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

It was a down week for the Seward County Saints, but it certainly wasn't for freshman guard Kevin Sims who averaged 26 points and 3 steals per game in two Seward contests.  Wednesday against Garden City Sims scored 19 points on 6 of 12 shooting and backed that up with a career high 33 point performance on 10 of 17 shooting against #8 Butler. 

Sims and the Saints will look to get back in the winning track Saturday as they open the 2015 Region VI Tournament with a 1^st Round road matchup with Independence.
